Corey not only was a affiliate of PI-NE but a friend. Corey’s passion for the paranormal inspired many others in this field and will be missed by many. He founded the group North State Paranormal Investigations in 2008. In Memory of Corey his group has decided to keep researching the paranormal in Corey's name.

PLATTSBURGH — Corey A. Coskey, 36, of Plattsburgh passed away in his sleep on Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at his home.
 
He was born in Kalamazoo, Mich., on June 10, 1973, the son of Alfred F. and Myrna R. (Germaine) Coskey.
 
Corey was the founder of North State Paranormal Investigation, which gave him much happiness while helping others. He had been employed as a truck driver and enjoyed spending time with family, especially his children.
 
Corey is survived by his wife, Nicole (Pratt) Coskey of Plattsburgh; his children, Devan, Andrew, Kaylie, April and Elisa; his father, Alfred Coskey, and his wife, Wanda of Portage, Mich.; his mother, Myrna Coskey of Orlando, Fla.; his siblings, Vern, Mike, Randy, Brian, Billy, Michael and Chris; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jim and Gloria Pratt of Plattsburgh; and a sister-in-law, Anastasia Pratt of Plattsburgh; as well as several nieces and nephews.
 
At Corey's request, there will be no calling hours.
 
A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church in Peru, with the Rev. Philip Allen presiding.
 
Friends wishing may make donations to his family.
